Delete your account

FieldTrip and DraftLine

FieldTrip (for Android and iOS) and the DraftLine web app are made by DraftLine, Inc. and share one account. Deleting your account in any of them deletes it everywhere. You can do it yourself at any time, and it takes effect right away.

How to delete your account

In the FieldTrip app for Android

  1. Open FieldTrip and sign in.
  2. Open the menu and tap Settings, then About & privacy.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.

In the FieldTrip app for iOS

  1. Open FieldTrip and sign in.
  2. Open the menu and tap Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Tap Delete Account to confirm.

In the DraftLine web app

  1. Sign in to DraftLine.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Under Delete account, choose Delete account….
  4. Type DELETE to confirm.

If you can't sign in

Email privacy@draftline.pro from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address, and we will finish it within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, profile photo, and sign-in. All of your sessions end, on every device.
  • Your notification devices and settings, and any waitlist entry.
  • Your membership in your organization, and your access to anything shared with you.
  • Your name and email address on comments, tasks, exports, invitations, notes, and file records.

What is kept

Photos, positions, notes, and other survey data you created belong to your organization, which relies on them as its survey record. They stay with the organization, no longer linked to your name. To ask about deleting that data, contact your organization's administrator.

If you are the only administrator of an organization that has other members, you will be asked to make someone else an administrator before you can delete your account.

How long deleted data takes to disappear

  • Database backups that may still hold your name and email address expire within 14 days.
  • Server logs are kept for about 30 days.
  • Crash reports, which carry an account ID but not your name or email address, are kept for up to 90 days.
